Is your tree up yet? No matter where you go in Southern Maryland, the air is festive! Check out these fun holiday events happening in the region this weekend, Dec. 1-3, 2017.

Annual Christmas Walk Lights Up Solomons

For 33 years, the streets of Solomons have been lit up the first weekend in December – and this year will be no different. It’s time for the annual Solomons Christmas walk!

The event will take place Thursday, Nov. 30, through Saturday, Dec. 2. The three days feature fun events that the whole family will enjoy. Stroll the luminaria-lit streets, enjoy the holiday decorations, and participate in festive activities! Events include kids’ activities, a live puppet show, and open houses at many local businesses. Santa Claus makes an appearance, and there will be a lighted boat parade!

A map of the 2017 Christmas Walk will be published in the County Times on Thursday, Nov. 30. For more information and a schedule of events, visit http://www.solomonsmaryland.com/events/signature-events/solomons-christmas-walk/.
