looking for music to get you in the Christmas spirit, check out these concerts happening throughout the region this weekend, Dec. 14-16, 2018.
Patuxent Voices Hosts Annual Holiday Concert
Let the soaring sounds of a cappella music get you in the holiday mood!
Patuxent Voices, Southern Maryland’s premier women’s a cappella group, will perform three concerts this weekend in the region.
On Friday, Dec. 14, the group will perform at 7:30 p.m. at All Saints Episcopal Church, 100 Lower Marlboro Drive in Sunderland. On Saturday, Dec. 15, the performance is at 7:30 p.m. at Christ Church Chaptico, 25390 Maddox Road in Chaptico. On Sunday, Dec. 16, the group will perform at 3 p.m. at Christ Church Calvert, 3100 Broomes Island Road in Port Republic.

Sing Along with “A Starry Christmas”
Two Rivers Harmony and four members of the Washington National Opera will present Christmas carols and songs of the season for “A
Starry Christmas” this weekend in California.
The event will take place Saturday, Dec. 15, at 7:30 p.m. at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 44078 St. Andrews Church Road in California. Besides the performances, there will be a carol sing and a reception following the concert with a chance to meet the performers.
Cost is $25 at the door and $20 in advance. Seating is limited and reservations are recommended.

Tubachristmas Blows into Solomons this Weekend
The sounds of brass will fill the air in Solomons this weekend for the annual Tubachristmas concert!
The event will take place Sunday, Dec. 16, at 4 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea, 225 Alexander St. in Solomons.
More than 50 tubas and euphoniums will play Christmas carols. All are welcome and admission is free!
