That Santa Claus is one busy guy, but he always has time for children in Southern Maryland! If your little ones are hoping for a little face time with the man in red, make plans to find him at one of these places and events right here in Southern Maryland this month.
St. Charles Center Mall
Santa’s annual residency at the St. Charles Center Mall in Waldorf is underway now! He’ll be there every day until Christmas Eve when, obviously, he has to head back to the North Pole to hop in his sleigh. Santa will be in the mall’s Center Court for pictures, visits, and wish lists, and you can also meet him at special events like story time with Santa on Sunday, Dec. 16, and pet photos with Santa on Sunday, Dec. 9.
Register for special events and see Santa’s daily hours atthe mall’s website; click “News and Events:” http://www.simon.com/mall/st-charles-towne-center.
Meet Santa and Mrs. Claus on the Leonardtown Square! The couple will be available for visits and free pictures on Saturday, Dec. 15, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The Solomons Christmas Walk is an annual tradition! This year, it takes place Friday, Dec. 7, and Saturday, Dec. 8. Stroll the
luminaria-lit streets and enjoy a variety of activities on the island. On Friday, Dec. 7, the Solomons Volunteer Fire Department will bring Santa Claus to the gazebo at 6:30 p.m. for the tree lighting.
