Fireworks Over the Bay, Chesapeake Beach

Solomons Island Fireworks

See fireworks over the Patuxent River from the Solomons Riverwalk! A parade of decorated boats begins at noon.

Town of Indian Head Fourth of July Celebration

Mark the Fourth of July on the Village Green with amusement park rides, food, and live music! The festival begins at 3:30 p.m., culminating in a fireworks show at dusk.

La Plata Fireworks

Fireworks, local music, and great food vendors make the Charles County Fairgrounds the place to be on the Fourth of July. Admission is free. Gates open at 3 p.m., and the fireworks show will begin shortly after dark.

Celebrate Charles! A Fun-Filled Fourth, Waldorf
When: Wednesday, July 4; Fireworks at approximately 9:30 p.m.
The fireworks at the Regency Furniture Stadium cap off a fun day called “Celebrate Charles! A Fun-Filled Fourth.” The day includes local artisan and craft booths, food, the Family Fun Zone, and a Southern Maryland Blue Crabs baseball game.
The festival begins at 4:30 p.m., and the fireworks will begin at approximately 9:30 p.m.
Admission to Celebrate Charles! is free, but there is a charge for Family Fun Zone wristbands, food, and marketplace purchases. A ticket is required to enter the stadium for the baseball game.

St. Mary’s County
River Concert Series Fireworks, St. Mary’s City
When: Friday, June 29, 7 to 10 p.m.
This Fourth of July-themed River Concert celebrates all things American! The Chesapeake Orchestra will play the music of Bernstein, Sousa, and Tchaikovsky. On the lawn at St. Mary’s College in St. Mary’s City. Fireworks close the show.

When: Saturday, June 30, 5 to 10 p.m.
Join the Hollywood Volunteer Fire Department for its 10th Annual Independence Day Celebration! Before the fireworks are launched at dusk, you can enjoy carnival rides, games, and food and drinks. Gates open at 5 p.m.
