Dance the Night Away to Motown
Grab your dance partner and put on your dancing shoes!
The Sons of the American Legion Stallings-Williams Post 206 will host Motown Night on Saturday, Dec. 28, from 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. at the Legion,
which is located at 3330 Chesapeake Beach Road in Chesapeake Beach.
DJ Stephen Varney will play your favorite tunes. Admission is $10 per person and includes draft beer and sodas. Tickets are available at the door, and the public is welcome.

Learn About Winter Wildlife at Marine Museum
Who lives in the Chesapeake Bay in the winter?
Find out this week at the Calvert Marine Museum. The museum will host a Winter Wildlife program on Thursday, Dec. 26, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The
program is free with museum admission.
Discover the animals that make the wintry waters of the Chesapeake Bay their home. Find fun facts in the aquarium, and take a walk through a jellyfish maze. Make pine cone bird feeders at 11 a.m., noon, and 2 p.m.

Count Down to Noon Year’s Eve!
Even the littlest celebrators can ring in the New Year – and still get to bed on time!
Three branches of the Calvert Library will host Noon Year’s Eve events on Tuesday, Dec. 31. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to noon at the Prince Frederick, Twin Beaches, and Southern branches of the Calvert Library.
Ring in 2020 with stories, activities, and more. The party ends with a big countdown to 12 o’clock — noon, that is — and an apple juice toast! Fancy attire optional.
