CSM Presents “A Wrinkle in Time”

The College of Southern Maryland’s Children’s Theater will present “A Wrinkle in Time” this weekend for audiences young and old to enjoy.

The play is an adaptation of Madeline L’Engle’s classic novel, which tells the story of heroine Meg Murray. Once again, she’s joining forces with Mrs. Whatsit, Charles Wallace, Calvin O’Keefe, and more to battle the forces of evil so she can rescue her father, save humanity and find herself. In the end, we know two things for sure: 1. Love CAN overcome evil and 2. There IS such a thing as a tesseract.

The play will be presented twice this weekend: On Friday, Feb. 3, at 7 p.m.; and on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 2 p.m. The play will take place at the Fine Arts Building on the College of Southern Maryland’s La Plata Campus, 8730 Mitchell Road in La Plata.

Cost is $7 for adults and seniors and $5 for students who are high school age and younger. For more information, visit http://www.csmd.edu/community/the-arts/theatre-and-dance/childrens–theatre/index.
