No matter what your resolutions are for 2017, you’re sure to find something to help you achieve your goals happening in Southern Maryland this month. Here are three events happening in the next week that can help you get a new job, get in shape, or learn something new.
Looking for a new job? Re-entering the job market after time away? Get help with your resume at the Calvert Public Library’s resume and cover letter workshop. Job counselor Sandra Holler will be at the library’s Prince Frederick Branch from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, Jan 5, to help you write a strong cover letter and resume.
Ms. Holler will work in small groups to give you tips for writing a new resume or editing an existing one. If you already have a resume, bring it with you for editing help. One printed copy is helpful.
For more information, call 410-535-0291 or 301-855-1862 or visit http://calvertlibrary.info. The Calvert Public Library in Prince Frederick is located at 850 Costley Way.
