Summerseat Hosts 15th Annual Plant Sale

Shop for her gift – or bring her along! – at the 15th Annual Plant Sale at Summerseat Farm in Mechanicsville. This anxiously awaited event will take place Saturday, May 13, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the farm, which is located at 26655 Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville. The event is rain or shine.

This popular fundraiser in an historic 1678 farm setting features a marvelous array of vibrant annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables, shrubs, trees, grasses, gift pots; hanging baskets; crafts; the “Bling for Spring” table, a big selection of gently-used jewelry; Mother’s Day gifts; our “Southwestern Corner,” and much more. You’ll be able to shop until you drop and get your gardening questions answered! Cash, check, and credit cards will be accepted.

Kids will enjoy crafts, seed planting, games at the Children’s Tent and fun in the Petting Zoo. Take a break for breakfast and lunch at the Courtyard Café. Don’t forget to allow time for a tranquil walk around the grounds past the sparkling goldfish pond; the vivid color of the gardens; the old cemetery; a guided tour of the 1884 manor house; and, lastly, a guided visit at the barns to see our assortment of animals, including American Buffalo.
