Enjoy Music All Day at Park Rock Fest 2017

For the past 15 years, the annual Park Rock Fest has been the place to be! And the 2017 edition of the concert, which will take place Saturday, Sept. 2, will be no different.

More than 23 artists will perform music of all kinds on three stages! The day’s non-stop music features pop, punk, emo, screamo, hard rock, alternative, independent, acoustic, hardcore, and metal. Headliner Palisades is a new hot pop-punk, post-hardcore group from New Jersey. The band Convictions will headline the metal, hard rock, and hardcore stage, while a special acoustic set by metal band Silver tung will be part of the third stage lineup.

This year, the festival adds an electronic dance music (EMD) venue called Cuantm Flx that will feature more than 10 major EDM DJs from Baltimore to Southern Maryland. While at the festival, you can shop commercial vendors and band merchandise tents and browse community organization booths.

Park Rock Fest takes places at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds in Leonardtown. Gates open at 11 a.m., and the music runs from 1 to 9 p.m. The festival is a drug-, alcohol, and obscenity-free event, and all ages are welcome.

The festival is produced by Power Jam Music Alliance, Inc., and sponsored by the Maryland State Arts County, St. Mary’s Arts Council, and St. Mary’s County. For more information or to buy tickets, visit www.PARKROCK.com or call 240-925-8659.
