Enjoy Irish Dancing at the Library
Is there a better way to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day than with music and dancing?
The Calvert Library Fairview Branch will host a program of Irish dancing on Saturday, March 17, from 11 a.m. to noon. The Fairview Branch is located at Route 4 and Chaneyville Road in Owings.
Dancers from the O’Grady-Quinlan Academy of Irish Dance will perform, and audience members may even have the opportunity to join in!

Kite Festival Benefits Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
Fly a kite, support research on a cure for blood cancers.
Team Fly4aCure, a group made of local high school students, will host its first-ever Kite Festival on Saturday, March 17, from noon to 6 p.m. The event will take place at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds in Leonardtown.
The festival includes entertainment, music, games, and beautiful kites. The $10 cost of admission includes a kite. All process benefit the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Girl Scouts Host Easter Egg Hunt for Children with Special Needs
Everyone loves an Easter egg hunt!
Girl Scout Troop 3362 will present an Easter egg hunt for children with special needs on Sunday, March 18, from 1 to 3 p.m. The event will take place at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds in Leonardtown. The event is for children age 3 to 9. Free. No basket needed!
The egg hunt will take place rain or shine.
