5, through Thursday, March 12, 2020. From seafood and pasta to steak and
burgers, restaurants in Calvert County will help you shake of the winter
doldrums. Culinary delights await you at restaurants across the county, which
will be offering special prices to match any budget.

Freedom Hill Horse Rescue Hosts Open House and Tack Sale
Curious about Freedom Hill Horse Rescue and its work with
neglected, abused, and unwanted horses?
Find out more at the organization’s open house on Saturday,
March 7, 2020. The event will take place from 3 to 4 p.m. at the rescue, which
is located at 7940 N. Flint Hill Road in Owings.
Admission is free, and children younger than 13 must be accompanied
by an adult.
Meet and greet the rescue’s ponies, play a game, or take a
pony ride ($5 fee). You can also tour the farm or shop the mini tack sale,
which will be taking place at the same time.
