Dance the Night Away in Leonardtown
Spend First Friday nights in Leonardtown!
The Leonardtown Summer Music Festival presents HydraFX in Concert at Crabfest during First Friday in Leonardtown! The event will take place Friday, June 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. on the Leonardtown Square. The concert is free.
Order a picnic from participating Leonardtown restaurants and bring a blanket or chair to relax on the Square. Parents can also drop their kids off to be entertained with kid-friendly art projects while they enjoy a date night out.

Summerseat Farm Hosts Annual Yard Sale
Find your next treasure at Summerseat!
Summerseat Farm will host its annual yard sale/flea market on Saturday, June 8, from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the farm, which is located at 26655 Three Notch Road in Mechanicsville.
Vintage items, along with everyday needs, will be for sale. Find everything from household goods to tools, children’s toys, and clothing.
There will also be specialty glass and “smalls” for collectors.

Annual Crab Festival Celebrates St. Mary’s County
What’s more Southern Maryland than crabs?
Enjoy a variety of crab dishes and celebrate St. Mary’s County crab culture and cooking at the Leonardtown Lions Club’s St. Mary’s Crab Festival. The event will take place Saturday, June 8, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the St. Mary’s County Fairgrounds in Leonardtown.
Cost is $7 per person at the gate. Children age 11 and younger are free.
Expect to find plenty of crab dishes, pizza, hamburgers, hot dogs, BBQ, stuffed ham, and so much more. There will also be live music, local entertainment, and an arts and crafts area. Don’t miss the classic car show, crab-picking contest, and petting zoo!
Nearly all of the proceeds from the festival support local and international Lions Club community service programs such as leader dogs,
vision and hearing support, and free vision screening.
