Fall is fun in Southern Maryland! As the holidays approach, here are just three of the great events happening here this weekend, Nov. 15-17, 2019.
Patuxent Harlequins Present “Pride and Prejudice”
The classic love story of Elizabeth Bennett and Mr. Darcy comes to the stage this weekend.
The Patuxent Harlequins of Patuxent High School in Lusby will perform “Pride and Prejudice” Thursday, Nov. 14, through Sunday, Nov. 17. The show will take place at 7 p.m. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday; and at 2 p.m. on
Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students.
The play is based on Jane Austen’s 1813 romantic novel about protagonist Elizabeth Bennett and her four sisters.

Sip ‘n Shop in Hollywood this Weekend
Start your holiday shopping at this annual Christmas bazaar!
St. John’s School will host its Christmas Bazaar Sip ‘n Shop on Friday, Nov. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. The event will take place at the school, which is located at 43900 St. John’s Road in Hollywood.
Shop from new and returning crafters and vendors, and take a chance on raffles. Hot dogs, refreshments, baked goods, and wine will be available for purchase. Crafts for kids will also be available.

Make Bad Holiday Art at Annmarie Garden
Who says art has to be good to be great?
Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center will host Bad Art Night: Holiday Edition on Friday, Nov. 15, from 6 to 9 p.m. The arts center is located at 13740 Dowell Road in Solomons.
Create bad holiday ornaments at this special adults-only evening! Everything you need to create “memorable” ornaments will be supplied.
Participants will vote for the “baddest,” and prizes will be awarded. Enjoy holiday music, tacky party food, and a cash bar.
Must be age 21 or older. Grab a friend, come with a group, or just come alone and meet new people and join the fun! Admission is $5 per person. No reservations needed.
