Port Tobacco Players Present “Don’t Dress for Dinner”
What could possibly go wrong when Bernard plans a romantic weekend with his mistress while his wife is away?
Well, just about everything! See the hilarious confusion when the Port Tobacco Players present “Don’t Dress for Dinner” beginning this weekend and continuing for the next three weekends.
The show will take place at 8 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays, Jan. 20, 21, 27, and 28, and Feb. 3 and 4; and 3 p.m. on Sundays Jan. 22 and 29 and Feb. 5. Cost is $18 for adults and $15 for seniors, youth, and military. Tickets are available now at http://www.ptplayers.com/.
Don’t miss the Opening Night Drawing on Friday, Jan. 20, only! Three lucky people will win a one-night stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Solomons and gift certificates for dinner at local restaurants. To enter, attend the show on opening night for your chance to win!
The fun of “Don’t Dress for Dinner” begins when Bernard plans a weekend with his chic Parisian mistress while his wife Jacqueline is away. The meal is arranged, and his best friend Robert is set to come along to provide alibi. Foolproof? Maybe not! What if Robert doesn’t realize why he’s been invited – and then imagine Robert and Jacqueline are secretly involved. Suppose the cook has to pretend to be the mistress, and the mistress can’t cook! It all comes together for an evening of hilarious confusion as Bernard and Robery improvise at breakneck speed.
Port Tobacco Players is located at 508 Charles Street in La Plata. For more information or to buy tickets, visit http://www.ptplayers.com/.
