Twin Beach Players Brings
“The Time Machine” to the Stage

H.G. Wells’ classic tale comes to the stage in North Beach
this month when the Twin Beach Players present “The Time Machine.”

The play will be performed at 8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 26, and Saturday, Oct. 27; and at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 28 at the Boys and Girls Club, 9021 Dayton Ave. in North Beach. Tickets are $12-15 and may be purchased at https://twinbeachplayers.org/.

“The Time Machine” tells the story of a Victorian inventor
who builds a time machine that he uses to visit the far future. There, he
discovers that progress does not lead to a perfect world. Instead, he finds the
future populated by two races. Above ground live the Eloi, a gentle, childish
people, whose lives appears to be free of struggle. However, below ground live
the Morlocks, who the Time Traveler discovers care for the Eloi like cattle to
be preyed on for food. When the Morlocks steal his time machine, the Time
Traveler must fight not only to return to his own time, but to save the future.

Be advised: This show will have state of the art creature
effects which may be too scary for small children.
