Set in the 1920s, the murder mystery is a story of jiltedlovers, a rival Mafioso, and even a couple of undercover feds! Tickets are $60each and maybe be purchased at https://www.calvert-mediation.org/copy-of-events.

Lions to Award Peace Poster Winners

Student artists take the spotlight Saturday when the St.
Mary’s County Lions Clubs announce the winners of their peace poster contest.

The artists’ reception will take place Saturday, Nov. 10,
from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Lexington Park Library, 21677 FDR Blvd. in Lexington Park.

The theme this year is “Kindness Matters,” and the students’
posters reflect their interpretation of the theme. Winning posters from this local competition will be forwarded to the next level of competition in the Lions Clubs International contest.

The contest was sponsored by the St. Mary’s County Lions Clubs, the St. Mary’s County Arts Council, and Red Chalk Studios for all St. Mary’s County students ages 11, 12, and 13.
