Annual Walk, Run, and Roll Benefits Bay-CSS
Walk, run, or roll your way to the finish line for a great cause!
Bay Community Support Services will host its 7th Annual Walk Run Roll event on Saturday, April 27, at Greenwell State Park, 25420 Rosedale Manor Lane in Hollywood. One hundred percent of the proceeds from this event benefit people with disabilities.
This fun family event has something for all fitness levels, ages, and abilities! There will be a timed 10K, a timed 5K, and an untimed Fun Run with a “Roll Course” for wheelchairs and strollers. Online registration is

Registration the day of the event begins at 8 a.m., and the race begins at 9 a.m.

Fill Your Garden at the Sotterley Plant Sale
How does your garden grow? Fill your beds with plants lovingly nurtured by the gardeners at Historic Sotterley!
The Sotterley Garden Guild’s Plant Sale will take place Saturday and Sunday, April 27 and 28, at the historic home. The sale runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and from noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday.
Annuals, perennials, shrubs, herbs, and more will be for sale, and members of the Garden Guild will be on hand to answer questions and share advice. The funds raised by this all volunteer group of gardening enthusiasts are used to maintain the beautiful Colonial Revival Garden adjacent to the Mansion.
The plantation is located at 44300 Sotterley Lane in Hollywood.

Drink Wine, Help Homeless Pets!
Say “Cheers!” to a great cause in Charles County!
The Humane Society of Charles County will host its 3rd Annual “Pouring for Paws” Wine Tour on Saturday, April 27, from 12:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Keller Bus Service will provide shuttle service as you tour Southern Maryland to taste more than 20 wines from different vineyards, including
Gemeny Winery & Vineyards, Janemark Winery & Vineyard, Romano Vineyard & Winery, and Robin Hill Farm & Vineyards. There will also be hors d’oeuvres and desserts, silent auction items, and a private tour of a vineyard.
Tickets are $100 per person and $80 per person with a valid military ID.
Pickup is at the Humane Society’s shelter, which is located at 52 Industrial Park Drive in Waldorf.
