There’s a big game happening Sunday night, but before kickoff, you’ll find lots to do in Southern Maryland this weekend! Here are just three of the events happening in the region this weekend, Jan. 31-Feb. 2, 2020.

Newtowne Players Present Musical Relationship Comedy

Grab your date and head to The Newtowne Players!

The theatre troupe will present “I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” from Jan. 31 through Feb. 16 at Three Notch Theatre, 21744 South
Coral Drive in Lexington Park.

Tickets are $18 for adults; $16 for NTP members; $15 for military, seniors, and students; and $13 for children younger than 12. All Thursday evening performance tickets are $13. To purchase tickets or see showtimes, visit https://www.newtowneplayers.org/.
Reservations may also be made at 301-737-5447.

Joe DiPietro and Jimmy Roberts’ musical is a celebration of the mating game that takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as “the relationship.” From dating and waiting to love and marriage, the show takes audiences through the agonies and triumphs of in-laws,
newborns, family trips, and pick-up techniques of the geriatric set. This
hilarious revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who
have fallen on their face at the portal of romance, to those who have dared to ask, “Say, what are you doing Saturday night?”
