house? Well, it’s all in the name. For a specified time on a certain day, your
home will be open for buyers (and, let’s face it, curious neighbors) to come

- Curious neighbors will attend your open house. They want to see the inside of your
home if they’ve never been in. Their nosiness might be annoying, but try to see
them as allies in your efforts to sell your home. They may know someone who is
looking to buy, and as your neighbors, they have a vested interest in who moves
into the neighborhood. - Thieves may check out open houses to case
neighborhoods and homes they’d like to rob later. Remove valuables, personal
items, and private items before your open house. - Hosting an open house is hard work! Your home
needs to be in tip-top shape for that day. It should be spotlessly clean, decluttered,
depersonalized, and in good repair. On my end, the marketing has to be on point
to attract the right potential buyers.
