Whether you want to be spooked, help a good cause, or get creative, there’s a lot to do in Southern Maryland this weekend, Oct. 13-15, 2017.

Are You Brave Enough to Walk the Trail of Terror?

Do you have what it takes to walk through the CornStalkers Trail of Terror?

If you do, you’ll want to be at the Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf on weekends in October! For the second year in a row, the Trail of Terror consists of more than 5,800 square feet of terror-filled trails and scare rooms along the cornstalk paths inside the stadium.

Trail of Terror is open Friday and Saturday nights from Oct. 13 to 29 from 7:30 to 11 p.m. Cost is $15 per person, and the attraction is recommended for visitors age 13 and older.

Create and Build at Annmarie Garden’s Cardboard Day of Play

Have you taken the Global Cardboard Challenge?

Join Annmarie Sculpture Garden and Arts Center for a day of outrageous construction, games, and imaginative play! The third annual Cardboard Day of Play will take place Sunday, Oct. 15, from noon to 4 p.m. at the sculpture garden in Dowell.

Families are invited to an afternoon of imaginative play as Annmarie Garden participates in the Global Cardboard Challenge, an annual event that highlights childhood creativity. There will be activities for all ages!

The Main Gallery of the Arts Building will be filled with cardboard creations and activities that will delight and engage families. Children will have the opportunity to collaborate, learn, and build their way through awesome amusements, art activities, and cardboard construction.
